Cleo Parker Robinson Dance
Cleo Parker Robinson Dance (CPRD), a Black-led, 50-year-old non-profit arts organization, will construct a 26,000 square foot Center for the Healing Arts. This new expansion facility will serve as a cultural anchor in the Rocky Mountain Region with three healthcare services providers co-located on site, which include mental health services, counseling, an alternative mental health emergency response program, and youth services. The expansion will enhance CPRD's ability to serve 175,000 individuals annually.
V-Cap provided a $4.6M loan, alongside public and private grants, donor investments, NMTC financing, and bridge loans. The facility will feature a building-integrated PV-Solar System and sustainable electrochromic glass to promote energy efficiency.
“This project is an exclamation point on dance in Denver,” said Marisa Hollingsworth, founder of Presenting Denver and a CPRD alumna. Malik Robinson, CEO of CPRD, added, “We are here because we have an inspired vision.”
