With V-Cap’s support, the oldest community health center west of the Mississippi  underwent substantial renovations for the first time in more than 50 years.

Denver Health’s Gipson Eastside Family Health Center is the oldest community health center west of the Mississippi River, and one of nine centers in Denver Health’s network. More than 95% of Denver Health’s patients are at or below the poverty line and rely on the clinic for a range of care, including physical therapy, pediatric care, obstetric care, and pharmacy needs. V-Cap provided a $5 million loan to Denver Health to support the renovation of their clinic.

With V-Cap’s support, the Eastside Clinic underwent substantial restorations for the first time in more than 50 years, including modern examination and procedure rooms, restrooms, lighting and infrastructure upgrades.
